Tina Ngo is a traveling nail artist with wings. Every other Friday she volunteers at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital and Health Center as the Nail Fairy. Wearing a tutu and wings, she pushes a cart filled with nail polish, temporary tattoos and mini wings to patient rooms. She has been featured on King5 News, online nail art publications and national news sites.
As word of the Nail Fairy spreads, people and businesses from across the nation continue to send her nail polish, tattoos and wings to help her continue her work. She's also been invited to other area children's hospitals to help train nail fairy volunteers. Tina is not only dedicated to the patients at Mary Bridge, she's given people in the community an opportunity to be a part of something special. Some say the smiles she leaves behind long outlast the manicures and tattoos.
How can you get involved and help Tina with her program?
Book an appointment -- Tina loves what she does, and the cost of your services goes towards gas and living costs, as well as the cost of being the Nail Fairy – all the volunteer work is free for the kids at the local children's hospitals, and everything comes out of pocket.

Want to volunteer at your local Children's Hospital?
You will have to be dedicated — wear a tutu & wings, and be able to polish nails.
Contact your local hospital regarding volunteering. Let them know you’d like to be a “Nail Fairy” and see if they would be interested in having you. You could alway direct them to this website to get a better idea of what you want to do. Just show them the media videos with local news stations and magazine articles so that they get the idea!
If the hospital would like to have a nail fairy, follow their instructions on how to become a volunteer. Once paperwork and everything is all set and done, you can have them contact Tina, if they have questions on how it works with different protocols in the hospitals. Also, She can try to send the hospital some polish supply to get you started.
*Please keep in mind, you will be painting each child's nails with a brand new bottle of polish each time and that child gets to keep that bottle of polish for sanitary reasons.
Here is a wholesale website for mini nail polish bottles: MyWholesaleFashion.com
You will need to contact Tina once all your volunteer paper work is approved and she can explain the way she does things that seems to work best and give you any tips you may need regarding going room to room to patients and all those details. Tina's contact information is located at the top of this website. Don't forget to share your progress and photos!
Good luck!
